Location
Hakone is a popular tourist destination for its hot spring resort areas and spectacular views of Mt Fuji.
The mountains, rivers, and lakes that make up more than 90% of the town’s natural beauty attract people from all over Japan and the world.
Visitors can enjoy the different seasons with cherry blossoms in spring, hydrangeas in summer, autumn leaves in fall, and hot springs in winter.
In addition, there is an abundance of hot springs, and many of day-trip hot spring facilities are available, so be sure to stop by.
The Odakyu Romance Car train is an easy 90-minute ride from the Tokyo metropolitan area (Shinjuku Station).
Whether you stay for an extended period of time or take a day trip, there is plenty of charm to be found here.

It takes about 4 minutes by car or 13 minutes on foot from “Hakone-Yumoto Station”.
From “Hakone-Yumoto Station”, take the Hakone Tozan Bus for 10 minutes, get off at “Sogado-ue” and walk for about 1 minute.

Lake Ashinoko
Lake Ashinoko is the most popular sightseeing spot in Hakone. This lake, which was compressed every time Mt. Komagatake erupted, formed a bow-like shape, and if the weather is good, you can see Mt. Fuji reflected beautifully on the surface of the lake.
Owakudani
Owakudani means a great bubbling valley and is the place where you can see the real volcanic activity and smell volcanic gases. It is also famous for the boiled black egg boiling in the hot spring water.
Sengokuhara Grasslands
It is a famous spot for pampas grass where you can enjoy the scenery of the grassland covered with a golden carpet in autumn. There is also a promenade in the grassland, so you can walk through the pampas grass and see the sights.
Hakone Tozan Railwa
Opened in 1919, it is the oldest mountain railway in Japan. Trains run from Odawara to Gora, and cable cars run from Gora to Sounzan. One of the highlights is the scenery from the train window, which changes depending on the season.
Museums
There are a wide variety of museums such as the Hakone Open-Air Museum, the Hakone Museum of Art, and the Hakone Garasunomori Venetian Glass Museum. You can enjoy art in general, not just paintings.
Day-use hot spring
Whether you want to casually use the footbath, enjoy the scenery in an open-air bath with a spectacular view, or choose a hot spring where you can enjoy a buffet lunch, there are many options you can select.
Forest Adventure
It is an experiential outdoor activity where you can enjoy moving your body in nature. You can use ropeways and suspension bridges stretched over the trees to move through the forest, and jump down from high places on ziplines.
Hakone Yosegi marquetry
Hakone marquetry with geometric patterns that make use of natural wood. The works created by craftsmen with many years of experience are truly works of art. They are popular not only for personal use, but also as souvenirs from Hakone.
From the Tokyo area: Exit at Yamazaki I.C. via Atsugi I.C. on the Tomei Expressway.
From Kansai or Tokai area: Take the Tomei Expressway and exit at Gotenba I.C.,
Then along Route 138. It’ll about 40 minutes from Gotenba.

If you come by bus
The nearest bus stop is [Sogado-Ue].
Take the Hakone Tozan Bus bound for Hatajuku or Motohakone Port from the Hakone-Yumoto Station Bus Stop No. 4 Route K, and it will take about 10 minutes.
It is about 1 minute walk from the bus stop to the hotel.
Yamazaki Y shop
A convenience store is located next door. You can purchase alcohol drinks,
beverages and foods.

Day-use hot spring[Hakone no yu]
About a 6-minute walk from our facility, they use 100% hot spring water from the hot spring source on the premises, and there is also a dog bath, so you can enjoy Hakone day-trip hot springs with your dog.
Admission fee: 1,100 yen for adults, 550 yen for children (4 years old to elementary school age)

Day-use hot spring[Yasaka yu]
An old-Japanese public bath from 1949. There is only one tiled circular bath, the direct-flowing hot springs are popular.
Bathing fee: 650 yen for adults, 300 yen for children [business hours 9:00-20:30]
